Patna Police has recovered the body of a 5-year-old child on Sunday morning. The relatives of the child alleged that he had gone out to play from home since Saturday and did not return home till late night. His body was recovered from the pond on Sunday morning. After the dead body was found, there was chaos among the family members. The family members alleged that their child was murdered and his body was thrown into the pond. The case pertains to Hemantachak village of Naubatpur police station area. The police of Naubatpur have recovered the body of the child from Hemantachak village on Sunday morning. The son of deceased Om Kishore Singh is Akash Om Singh.

Regarding the incident, the child’s mother Chanchala Kumari told that she is a teacher in a private school. They have a son, Akash Om Singh, who is a student of UKG at Commenial World School. He told that on Saturday evening he had gone out to play from home and since then he had gone missing. Even after a lot of research, no clue of Akash Om Singh was found. On Sunday, he received information that his son’s body was lying in a pond next to a friend’s house. He immediately informed about it to Naubatpur police station. After getting the information, the police have recovered the body of the child from the pond. Police is calling it a suspicious case. Police believe that the case will be revealed only after the post mortem report comes.

Regarding the incident, Phulwarisharif Police Sub-Divisional Officer Vikram Sihag says that the matter seems to be suspicious. He told that the body of the child has been recovered from the pond. Only after the post-mortem report comes, it will be clear whether the child died due to drowning in the water while playing or whether he was murdered. Police has sent the dead body for postmortem.
